Our stunning 11" Christmas door wreath is decorated with our own dried roses, rose leaves, silver birch sticks and pine fir cones and it's topped with a delicate red hessian bow and wrapped all the way around in red jute twine.
 
It's a full-size all-natural door wreath which is an entirely eco-friendly alternative to the most common Christmas wreaths you see available that are made with metal, plastic-coated wires, plastic mechanics and ornaments as well as chemically preserved nuts/fruits and such like.  
 
The "frame-base" is made from organic sisal, onto which we bind premium meadow hay with jute twine. And all of the decorations are sewn onto the wreath with jute twine, meaning that the entire wreath is completely natural and compostable at home, with no chemicals or nasty stuff at all!
 
These materials also mean it is very tasty for your herbivores such as rabbits and guinea pigs. So if you want to treat your wee furries at or after Christmas (rather than composting your wreath) they will eagerly tuck into the decorations and the hay! 
 
We make the sisal hoop (frame) to measure 10.5 inches, so the final wreath is around 11 inches wide to its outer width, which is a perfect size for doors as well as making a lovely wall decoration. As this is made using dried roses it is not advised to hang outdoors, where the wind and rain could demolish the rose petals and leaves faster than your wee furries could! So we recommend this wreath for indoor use. 
 
Health & Safety for Pets
The base hay wreath is tightly bound with jute twine, so if you wish to give this wreath to your herbivores, then do remove any long strands of jute that may become separated as they tuck in and break the wreath up. This will ensure there can be no chance of entanglement issues with over excited munchers! As all pets (even of the same species) are different, with differing characters and behaviours, always monitor your pets when they have new treats or toys to ensure their health and safety. 
 
Storage instructions
All items made from natural materials should be stored in a cool dry dark place because natural materials are prone to mildew if stored incorrectly. 
If your wreath has been hung where is has been subject to damp air, condensation or water vapour, then please ensure that you dry it out thoroughly in a ventilated dry-space before storing in a dark dry and cool place ready for the following year. This should prevent any growth of mould/mildew whilst in storage.
