Hay is an absolute essential in the diet of rabbits and nearly all herbivores, so why not give them a bundle of fun to play with while they munch!
Our Christmas Wreaths are handmade with the very best meadow hay which is sourced in the UK. They are bound together with sisal which is 100% organic and is easy for herbivores to digest without causing intestinal blockages, and decorated with organic pine cones, organic blackberry sticks and natural raffia bows.
Please be assured that the bows are tied using only very short single strips of raffia, so that we and you can be sure there is no danger of entanglement for our larger pets, even once they are nibbled. However, looped as they are, they may not be suitable for the smallest of pets such as mice or hamsters unless the loops are cut.
These Christmas wreaths have an approximate outer diameter of 16cm (6.5 inches), plus a little more for the decorations!
As they are made using grassy meadow hay they are lightweight in comparison to hay toys made from cheaper woodier hay. Plus being mostly dried leafy green grass (with less of the thicker harder woody stems such as that you get from cheap hay varieties) these are far more nutritious!
Storage instructions
If you don't plan to use these immediately, please store in a dark cool & dry place. This is because natural materials can be prone to mildew if they get damp.
