Enrich your pet's enclosure by adding fun hammocks for them to climb into and see their world from a higher perspective! These are ideal for small guinea pigs, gerbils, hamsters, rats and mice and also for small reptiles such as bearded dragons, lizards, geckos and chameleons.

For small pets who can sometimes have a tendency to chew on their furnishings, it is most important that they are made with materials that, if they are tempted to have a nibble, can be safely digested. Unfortunately, most fabric hammocks on the market are made with fabrics that herbivores can't digest, such as cotton or even worse plastic fabrics (fleece etc), and so can be very dangerous causing intestinal blockages. Jute twine, however, is not too tightly spun, and so it will break down easily if chewed, keeping your pets safe.

These hammocks measure approximately 20cm deep by 20cm wide and hang to a height of approximately 22cm. The sides are supported with natural willow sticks, so that the hammocks hold their shape. All come with clip hooks at the top for attaching them to cages.

If you have a glass or plastic enclosure, you can also buy them with four 47mm suction cups. Our suction cups are made in the USA by Adams, are manufactured to superior quality so that they do not perish in sunlight or high humidity and are rated to hold loads of 1.36kg (3lb) in weight.

IMPORTANT HEALTH & SAFETY INFO

Some pets chew more than others: some don't chew their hammocks at all, but others might give it a really good chomp. Only you know your own pet's behavioural character, so do monitor their use of the hammock. If you find that your pet is a big chewer, such that they eat through the integrity of the hammock, do remove it immediately from the enclosure so that there is no risk of entanglement.
