These heart hay cakes are made with 100% timothy hay which has been compressed into a solid hay cake. They are decorated with dark pink rose petals and a small wooden open heart. As there are no binders in the hay at all, and only the smallest amount of organic potato starch to bind the rose petals and wooden heart to the cake, it is 100% edible and nutritious!
They come with a little extra too! With each cake you will also be given a small sachet of loose rose petals (approximately 1g), so that you can decoratively scatter these around your pet's enclosure for their added foraging happiness!
These timothy hay heart cakes have an approximate width of 6cm (2.5 inches), a height of 6cm (2.5 inches) and are between 4 and 5cm (2 inches) thick (the thickness can vary).
Storage instructions
If you don't plan to use these immediately, please store in a dark cool & dry place. This is because natural materials can be prone to mildew if they get damp.
