Cats just love to chase and jump to catch toys! They thoroughly enjoy playtime and often we hear how loudly our cats purr when we play with them. Much of cats' play emulates hunting techniques, and whilst teaser sticks can help to improve a cat's hunting skills, they can also satisfy this innate desire and so help reduce cats' playful hunting and therefore the number of birds and mice they bring home!
Our Pom-Pom teaser sticks are made with responsibly-sourced organic cotton. The pom-poms measure approximately 5cm wide. They are tied to the 40cm long wooden stick with natural jute twine which measures 50cm in length.
- You can choose a single colour pom-pom or a two tone - please see our colour chart for the colours available. Your pom-pom will be made to order in the colours you choose.
- You can also choose if you would like to have a jingle bell (made of stainless steel), or if you would prefer it without (so that it will be entirely 100% natural materials).
Your pack will contain one stick (unless you choose a larger quantity). Please allow 2-3 working days for us to make your order, before we can dispatch.
Safety Instructions
When cats play with and then catch toys on strings, they will do anything to try to hold onto them! So, we advise to never flick teaser sticks away too hard and always wait for your cat to release their catch before you swish it again. This will protect their nail beds from harm. Also, to protect their eyes and ears, never flick teaser sticks directly at your cat's head. When not playing with your cat, all teaser sticks should be placed out of reach from your cat so that there can be no risk of them playing unsupervised with them and potentially becoming entangled in long strings.
