These hearts are made by creating two handmade ropes of soft grassy timothy hay which is turned into a heart shape and bound only at the top and bottom with short lengths of organic sisal. They are decorated with red hessian ribbon, birch bark hearts and sundried red rose hips.
These timothy hay hearts have an approximate width of 17cm (6.5 inches) and height of 23cm (9 inches) to the top of the heart (as such they are bigger than our meadow hay hearts).
All our timothy hay toys are made using the very best timothy hay which is sourced in the UK. As these are made entirely from grassy timothy hay they are lightweight in comparison to other hay toys made from cheaper woodier hay. Plus being mostly dried leafy green grass (with less of the thicker harder woody stems such as that you get from cheap hay varieties) these are far more nutritious!

If you don't intend on hanging the heart, then please snip off the hook to avoid entanglement issues.
Storage instructions
If you don't plan to use these immediately, please store in a dark cool & dry place. This is because natural materials can be prone to mildew if they get damp.
