Our white wood hanging wooden hay feeders provide a safe, tactile and interesting way for your fur babies to access their hay. They will love the ease of access from 4.5cm gaps which make the hay easy for them to pull out and munch, and they will also enjoy the feel and look of the natural wood.

These hay feeders are all hand made by us with entirely natural products - there is no plastic glue or artificial materials at all in them. All of the wood is kiln-dried and the dowels, beads and base are thread with natural jute twine and tightly tied such that they also stand solidly when not being hung, meaning you can also use them as a free-standing hay feeder if you don't want to hang it to the side of your enclosure (do tie off the strings if using as a free-standing feeder to avoid entanglement issues).

Your wooden hay feeder will be supplied empty for you to fill with your preferred hay. We have filled ours with premium Timothy Hay here, to show you visually how they look when filled.

The frame of the feeders measure approximately 25cm wide by 10cm deep and are 20cm high  to the top of the frame. The full hung height to the top of the metal hooks is approximately 40cm.

Hay feeding advice

It is always beneficial to provide a number of different hay feeders for your pets because this adds enrichment and choice. Not only do they thrive when given choice, but also your feeders will last longer against the effects of tugging and chewing by determined little fur babies.
