Seed bombs are a quick and effective way to add some wild and natural colour to your outdoor space which will benefit the whole ecosystem and encourage pollinators to thrive.

These pots contain 15 seed bombs, each of which contains an average of around 100 seeds. Species of seeds include: Purple Tansy, Californian Poppy, Cornflowers, Red Clover, Burnet, Black Medic, Birdsfoot Trefoil, Sainfoin, Field Poppy, Corncockle, Borage, Bitter Blue Lupin, Chicory, Gypsophila, Soapwort, Safflower, Love in a Mist, Linum, Dwarf Morning Glory, Cosmos, Zinnia, Four O’ Clock, Scentless Mayweed, and Pot Marigold.

Sow your seed bombs in the spring from March to May, when seed bombs sown earlier in the season will provide colour for a longer period during the summer. You can also sow your seed bombs in September or October, prior to any frost, as they will then naturally over-winter and germinate as soon as they detect their natural germination temperature.

You can create different areas of wildflowers to suit your space. Our seed bombs can be used in container planting, to make a single specific wildflower bed, or to intersperse wildflowers into a mixed flower bed, or even to add wildflowers to a no-mow grassed area for a more natural wild meadow.

Instructions
Ideal sowing season: Early Spring or Late-Autumn
Soil: Organic-rich well-drained soil
Position: Prefers full sun, can cope with partial shade
Watering: Keep moist and well drained
Germination: 7-28 days (season & species dependent)
Flowers: Spring to Autumn
Harvest: Allow to self-seed before cutting back old foliage and flowers, this increases the potential of any annuals to grow anew the following year
Height: Average 50cm to 80cm
